Welcome to Moscow, the most visited city of Russia.
You will enjoy staying here, but please keep in mind that this is one of the most expensive capitals of the world. High western standards in the hospitality industry come at higher prices here.
We encourage our families to arrange their accommodation in Moscow themselves, because sometimes better deals are available through travel web-sites and US travel agencies. The only request is that you book a room at one of the hotels from the list below. Based on our experience we choose these hotels because highest standard services and location, convenient to our adoption plan, meets the most reasonable rates. The CHI does not allow our parents to book low-budget hotels because they are situated in unsafe districts of Moscow and very far from the center of the city. Please, understand, it’s for your safety and convenience for your adoption activities. If you choose to make your own arrangements, you will have to rely on yourself if some unforeseen problems occur with your reservation, transportation, etc. Please, inform the CHI Head Office about your reservations and itinerary as early as possible.
These prices DOES NOT include 18% VAT and breakfast.
If you choose to rely on CHI in arranging you travel and accommodation, please be sure we will do our best to fulfill all your requests and take care about your arrangements should any changes occur. Please, read the following simple rules that we set for making your hotel arrangements. Please be reassured, they are written with
the goal of accommodating your adoption process in the best possible way:
- Most of the families will be staying at the Holiday Inn Sokolniki Hotel (standard room at negotiated adoption rate which includes VAT and breakfast). If no rooms are available at this hotel, we will reserve for you a standard room at the Holiday Inn Lesnaya Hotel or Holiday Inn Sushchevsky (standard room at negotiated adoption rate).
- Please, be informed, that adoption rate cannot be confirmed by the hotels for the Black Out Dates (during exhibitions and seminars). Check the table and be prepared to pay Hotel Rate, which is, unfortunately, much higher.
- A reservation may be canceled without penalty within 24 hours of your planned arrival time. This is why we ask you to inform the CHI main office in the USA or in Moscow as soon as possible if you are not arriving on a scheduled day. This way you will avoid being billed for one night’s room rate and tax.
- If upon arriving you refuse to stay at the hotel where we have reserved a room for you, you would have to pay a "no show" penalty.
This table is for your information only; prices are for the year 2008 and they are subject to change. If you have any requests about the type of room you would like us to book for you, please, contact CHI Head office ahead of time and we will try to arrange everything according your wish, but there is no guarantee. If you have no preferences, we usually book a standard non-smoking room at the Holiday-Inn Sokolniki Hotel. Many CHI families stayed there and they liked the hotel, its location and CHI initiated rate, which includes breakfast for 2 people (kids free) and VAT. If there are no rooms available at this hotel, we will book you a standard room at one of Holiday-Inns at CHI Adoption rate (please, see below).
