Moscow office

WELCOME TO RUSSIA!

CHILDREN’S HOPE INTERNATIONAL RUSSIA PROGRAM MOSCOW OFFICE was officially open Dec. 2000.

After three years of successful work in placing Russian children with American families our agency grew up as a full-time working Representative Office in Moscow. We have a National Coordinator, a Travel Coordinator and other office-staff members working full-time 5 days a week. We have quite a number of interpreters and drivers to accompany our families during their presence in Moscow. We have an emergency contact phone number available to our parents around the clock to provide our adoptive families with the assistance when needed while in Russia.

Each day we communicate with the CHI Social Workers in our headquarter in St. Louis, USA and with our Regional Representatives throughout Russia organizing your travel and adoption process. In each region the CHI has Regional Representatives together with a team of interpreters and drivers to accompany you during your adoption. Be assured that all the CHI Russian team workers are very well trained and have years of experience. They will be with you during every step of your adoption assisting and guiding you the entire time in the region.

We also have an opportunity to provide you with some additional services. We will be glad to take you on a complimentary city-tour of Moscow. You will also be able to use our professional tourist services at your own expense if interested.

We are happy to announce brining back some important services for our families.
The first important addition – is an opportunity of personal communication with a qualified pediatrician, specialist in orphan state of health before getting a referral. Parents will be able to ask as many questions as they can and get all the necessary information about diagnosis of this category of children, and also arrange a phone-conversation with the doctor about their definite child. At the moment we have an agreement about such meetings with N.A. Belova – doctor of the American Medical Center, genetic with 20 years of experience, and familiar with health condition of children, living in the orphanages in Russia.
The second – is brining our famous city-tours back. Unfortunately, many families couldn’t afford hotel-tours at their prices and had to leave our magnificent city without world-famous Moscow sightseeing. We do want to give this opportunity to everyone. However, taking into account Moscow “traffic jams”, we made some corrections in this compliment. Families will be able to take part not only in bus-tours but also in walking tours with a professional English-speaking guide: «The history of the Kremlin» (Red Square, Kremlin, Alexandrovsky Garden, Saint Basil Cathedral) and «The history of Moscow from 12 to19 centuries» (Christ the Savior Cathedral, Kremlin, Peter the Great Monument).
